Our Finnish grandparents brewed mushrooms when they couldn't get coffee. Interestingly, those mushrooms—Chaga—are a powerful, immune-supporting Four Sigmatic food, which gave us an idea. Unfortunately, many mushroom supplements on the market aren't actually mushrooms, but rather the mycelium (the root system). At Four Sigmatic, we use only the mushrooms' fruiting bodies, which contain 15 times more active ingredients than the mycelium.
